There are many type of USB connector and port are mentioned below.
1. type USB 2.0 Standard-A USB plug is a flattened rectangle which inserts the USB downstream port host receptacle or hub and bearing both power and data.
2. A standard b-away usually has a square shape with bevelled exterior corners connected to an upstream receptacle on a device that uses a removable cable, e.g. a printer.
3. Mini and micro USB connectors: various connectors have been used for smaller devices such as PDAS, mobile phones or digital cameras.
