differnce between pc and ultra hd??

I know I can only get 144hz on pc? But it looks different? color wise. just wondering what the actual difference in these settings are. pc vs ultra hd stuff.

EDIT :im getting this from my nvdida control panel. Under change resolution, I recently changed from an HDMI cord to a display port as i was told that 144hz would not be achieved through HDMI. after changing it to 144hz it changed from the 1920 x1080p (native) (top pic) to the PC 1920 x1080 (second pic) and i saw a visual difference between the two. Was just wondering what the difference actually is.

Where are you getting this from? It needs some context.

1080 is 1920 x 1080 is HD,

720p is SD

2160p is UHD or 4K

Your monitor determines the max refresh rate. Have you got a 144Hz monitor?

You should only use Windows, Control Panel, Display Settings to change resolution. It should then always be set to the native resolution of the monitor for it to work properly.

this is my monitor. So your saying i should stay at the native resolution which means 60hz?

You don't have to do anything for that to happen.

144Hz is the refresh rate, not the resolution. It is a 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution monitor. Display Settings should pick this up without you doing anything - as long as you keep Windows up to date.
