Hi all,

I'm planning to upgrade my PC as I've promised myself that I would only do so every three (3) generations of GPU (i.e. from 2070 to 5070) lol. So far, this is what I got from my research? What do you guys think? I would appreciate your honest feedback and/or other recommended pairings for a 5070 Ti. Budget would be around 1,500 in USD for GPU, MOBO, CPU, and AIO, if still possible. Would this also fit my old
Lian Li Dynamic Black case?

Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX: https://geni.us/gW5Y
CPU: Ryzen 7 7700X: https://geni.us/EpSty
GPU: RTX 5070 Ti: https://geni.us/d1YmOZn
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Frozen Prism: https://geni.us/wjyBN

Thank you very much.

P.S. Apologies for the wrong grammar, if any. English is not my native language :)

Should be fine if you can get a 5070 (ti) at anywhere near msrp.

You might want to look into a new psu as well if the one you have is from the time you got the 2070, I don’t think your setup will require all that much power but unless you got a very good psu last time it might be time to replace it.

Also, will the ram you have work in your new mobo? I think b650 requires DDR5.

I think you’ll be happy with that. I’m running a ryzen 7700 non x with a 7900xtx which is slightly faster than the 5070ti and they seem fine together so your build should be balanced.

What power supply are you intending to use?
Thank you for the confirmation :) My current PSU, which I bought last 2018, is a Seasonic Focus 750w. Still, I may need to buy a new one given its old age.

My current build is:

GPU: RTX 2070
CPU: I5-9600k
MOBO: MSI TOMAHAWK z390 motherboard
RAM: 16gig 3600mhz TeamForce
PSU: Seasonic 750w
CPU Cooling: NZXT Kraken AOI
Case: Lian Li Dynamic Black

Thanks for noticing. Because of that I realized that I also need to buy a new RAM and PSU lol.
