Hello guys,
I have a dilemma choosing between 2 gaming builds. I am not planning to upgrade it further for a while. I want to play on 1080p @ 60Hz. Games like GTA V, Witcher 3, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, AC Origins (& upcoming Odyssey).
The 2 most important things for me are the gaming performance in terms of FPS (no streaming or multitasking during gaming whatsoever) and the degree of being future-proof regarding gaming.
Here are the 2 builds
Build 1
CPU: i5-8600 (non-K!)
Mobo: Gigabyte B360M Aorus Gaming 3
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1070
RAM 16GB 2400Mhz
Storage: NeoForza 256GB SSD SATA600
Power: Cooler Master ATX 2.31 700 Watt
Case: Cooler MasterBox MB500
Build 2
CPU: i7-7700K
Mobo: Gigabyte Z270P D3
GPU: Gigabyte nVidia GTX 1070
RAM: 8GB 2400Mhz
Storage: NeoForza 256GB SSD SATA600
Power: Cooler Master ATX 2.31 700 Watt
Case: Sharkoon VG4-W ATX
Build 2 is about €20-30 more expensive. My biggest doubt concerns the difference in RAM and CPU (i5-8600 + 16 GB RAM versus i7-7700K + 8 GB RAM).
I would really appreciate some advice on this.
