Hey good folks!

I got two 16gb sets of Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4, one on 3200 (samsung) and one that's 3600 (micron).

For now i run them both at 3200, but im clueless on settings, timings etc.

I have thought about buying another set of 3600 and sell the 3200, but i feel i at least should as you guys the following:

What do you think i can OC my 3200 sticks to, and what kind of timings should i try? Maybe a middle thing, like 3400ish with good timings? Or are the 3200 ones good enough for 3600?

3200mhz is CMW16GX4M2C3200c16 /samsung
3600mhz is CMW16GX4M2D3600c16 /micron

I got a MSI Z490 MPG Carbon Gaming WiFi ( a pretty ok card i think) + a i9-10850K.

Appreciate ANY feedback, and help in finding some middlegorund, or even 3600 (??) on the 3200 sticks?

Peace!

Samsung makes various chips and we don't know if you have B die's or not so can't really say. Make a full disk backup of your boot drive and then up the speed to 3600 and see if you're still stable. If it's not stable you can begin tuning it for stability or just drop back down to 3200. If the instability corrupts your OS then you have the backup you made for the easy restore :)
Enjoy!

Well, "mixing ram" as you say is what happens when you buy two sets of the same brand, but you ---- up the Mhz.

There is no issues running these 4 sticks at 3200 talking about stability and performance, never had a BS since i put my rig together, and my setup is ranked 6# with same components on 3dmark, si yeah. If you want to answer my question, because i guess a lot of poeple got these sticks. How far will a pair of 3200 samsung chips go, like aprox?

MOD EDIT: watch the language
