i need it for 1080p @ 165hz , for fast paced games, i cant tolerate any hickups. Guy that has it says he only has 2m and 3m ones. i ve read online somehwere that dell recomends 1.8m max for best experience. what should i do ?

I asked what brand is it , he ignored that question in our conversation. Brand name is not mentioned anywhere.
It says it supports 8k60hz , 4k 144hz i think and 1080p 240hz
it costs 40 dollars, but thats not in the USA. here prices are criminal

Mentioned here;

What is the make and model of your display and the display output source? Perhaps pass on the link to the cable you're looking at for us to see.

the monitor is Benq Zowie XL2411k Display port 1.2 (+ hdmi 2.0)

Laptop ( Lenovo legion 5 17ach6h rtx 3060 r5 5600h)
it has x1 USB-C 3.2 Gen2 and USB-C 3.2 Gen2 (data transfer/dp 1.4only) , so 2 USB-C ports

it also has HDMI 2.0 ( i assume its type A ) but i heard it wont support 144hz from people who tried,cos HDMI is HDMI i suppose

link to the cable
https://novi.kupujemprodajem.com/ko...hz-kabl-1m-2m-3m-4k-144hz-usbc/oglas/97196034

30AWG USBC na DisplayPort 1.4, podrška ultra rezolucije 8K 7680*4320, kompatibilan sa HDMI 2.0b / 2.01 / 2.0 / 1.4 / 1.3 / 1.2 / 1.1, podrška 8K @ 60Hz, 4K @ 144H
he says 2m cable pushes 1080p at 200- 240hz in the description (can be seen in the link).
Its the 2m one , not 0.5 or 1m

0.5 and 1m cables pushes 240hz (thats how he wrote)

2m= 6.5 feet
1m = 3.3 feet
0.5m = about 1.7 feet

I would say 2m is generally considered the maximum cable length you can reasonably expect a certified cable to work without issue. The only reason why Dell says 1.8m is because they're an American company and 1.8m is roughly 6 feet, which is a common cable length in the US.

if we assume that this cable is either too long or <anything> that would cause it to work inproperly at times, what would be the effects of it not working properly? like would my HZ , image quality ,picture color or anything like that drop ? my usage would be 99% gaming,fast fps games

The video would drop out constantly if the setting is too high, if it even works at all.
