Has anyone had a problems intalling Adaptec's Direct CD on W2K? I have a machine that I can not install it on, everytime I do on re-boot I get the wonderful blue screen and i am missing evian.dll I don't really use direct cd but I am wondering why?

Thanks for any help,
Matt

What version are you using? 2000 only supports version 3.x and above.

I'm also running ver 4 on nt2000 pro
with no problems.

you could try and copy all the files from the DirectCD cd-Rom into a folder on your PC and install from there. (might make a diffrence?)

I have had blue screens after installing 4.02x under win2k. I dont remember the exact error, but I think it has something to do with win2k always seeing everything as a "SCSI" device reguardless of how it really connects. Most of my burner programs dont work because they cant find a ASPI controler or a burner. Got me.

A mime is a great this to waste!
