Directv and Comcast in the SAME house at the SAME time?

Is it possible to actively have both Directv & Comcast TV in my house AT THE SAME TIME? I'm not going into detail, but we can't end the Comcast agreement until August, and we are getting Directv next month. Once August comes around, we would cancel Comcast tv, and only keep Comcast Internet. Would Directv just have to wire the house again?

can't go over the same cables, but I had Comcast Internet and DTV tv by having the main input cable go to the Comcast modem box, and tapping into the "rest" of the house cable with the DTV box(es)

I'm not looking into using the same coax, will Directv still wire my house even though I currently have Comcast?
