Started with DirectTV but since switched to using YouTube TV and could not be happier. I had a Tivo for years and needed a cloud based DVR that felt as responsive as a local Tivo.

Plus how in the world YouTube can give you unlimited recording I do not know but it makes a world of difference. I basically just set everything to record.

Can not think of any reason to get DirecTV any longer.

Directv Now added today May 17, 2018. The picture clarity is excellent, however, the colors are washed out a bit and the brightness of the picture is much less when comparing to Directv Sat connection same channel same broadcast. I then tried same with Hulu v Satelite Directv and almost identical color and brightness. I actually had a DirectvNow technician phone me about what I consider to be enough difference, color and brightness to make it unacceptable. He claims they will use my input to improve the beta version and to hand in there a little longer since I have a free 90 day trial. I will update in a couple of weeks.
