I have an issue where my gtx 970 and windows 10 are running dx 11.3 instead of the 12 i was promised. By any chance do you know if there's a fix to this?
Where did you get that you are running DX 11.3? Your GFX supports DX12 and as soon as any games that support it come out (when don't know when yet) you are good to go.

Oh, so basically it doesn't matter if i have it on my pc at the moment? Will the game supporting dx12 download dx12 as well for me? Well then, that's a relief. And btw i got the dx info by running dxdiag. Clearly says Directx 11.3
Strange, did you install the latest driver for Windows 10 from nVidia? I have a R9 290x and it says DX12 on the dxdiag, had to download a new driver after upgrading.

I am having the same problem, did you (or anybody else) find a solution? I've read other blogs too that say to turn off mfaa in nvidia control panel and that doesn't work for me. I am running a gtx 960 and just upgraded to windows 10 yesterday, my gtx 960 says directx 12 right on the box it came in. Also, nvidia control panel system information says directx runtime version: 12 and dxdiag says 11.3
