Dirt 2 windowed mode only

how do i get dirt 2 to not run in windowed mode, I just bought the game off of steam and for some reason it launches in windowed mode and in video options there is no option to go fullscreen as far as I can see ,does anybody have a solution to this problem and also I am running windows 7 pro 64. Also I have no problems running any of my other numerous games in fullscreen is it just this game? help please

oh wow I feel stupid but that worked I was trying alt+tab to no avail, thanks a lot
