Hello. This thread is related to my previous post:
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1926843/amd-throttling-starting-make-feel-hopeless.html
But to have things ordered, I want to ask this precise question in another thread.
After some research and testing, and considering these are the only power options left to try in my BIOS, I would like to test if I still getting the same drops after deactivate both ACPI 2.0 and ACPI APIC in the BIOS. The problem is that Windows 7 won't boot. I am willing to reinstall it if that makes it work and finish the frequency drop, but I need to know if is reliable to do and if there is any way to avoid a complete reinstall of the OS?
I appreciate any tips or ideas.
