Hi. there is this checkbox in any application properties-> comatibility ->
" disable display scaling on high dpi settings"
what's this exactly do?
what's the effect of this option while playing games?
i have a 1080p monitor, but sometimes i use DSR for better image quality.
my gpu is a gtx 980 wf3
by default windows enabled " disable display scaling on high dpi settings" for all my games.
should i disable it or keep enabled?

Well, it seems to me that all it does is effect the size of text whether in a game or out. So, you can disable it so long as text in a game doesn't appear blurry. If text does appear blurry you can enable it, but it may make your games appear slightly smaller.

I disable if it'snot disabled because my graphics card ain't great and I sometimes lower my resolution and play in windowed mode and on some games disabling it puts the edge of the windowed mode off the edge of the screen. That's good if I have action bars near the edge cause it keeps me from accidentally grabbing the edge of the window and dragging it in, which instantly sends me to the loading screen. Usually with dire consequences for me and anyone relying on me to do what I'm doing...lol
