hello all, our company got new pc computers, so they give us the old computers.

i get lenovo thinkcenter with windows 10, i get to login screen hit ctrl+alt+delete and i got "domain login", but i don't have the password for that user (the user is old and no one have his password), and i want to use this pc, but i don't want to format the hd, cause i have legal windows install on it.

is there a way to disable the domain login?

i try with net command to create new user, but it give me error something with domain controller.

Yeah but even if he has a local account, if its still in domain it will give him trouble, since he needs to be Domain admin to remove it from the domain.

If you have a legal version of windows then you should have an activation key, so you can re-install.

If you can log in as a local user then you will be able to us the machine, but will not have access to any data owned by the domain user.

Really you should take it to work and ask your IT to remove it from the domain and give you a fresh windows install.
