This is my issue..
My PC all of a sudden has disabled usb ports. Now i can' login since I can't use keyboard and mouse.
1) usb and mouse works in bios but as soon as it starts to boot windows lights on my keyboard and mouse goes off and when it comes to login prompt both don't work.
2) cleared cmos, but not able to fix the issue.
3) network port and video ports are working fine. I am able to connect monitor on the motherboard hdmi and see bios and booting windows.
4) even though i am not able to use mouse and keyboard i see that there's power to those ports. I am able to charge my phone on all of those ports.
5) there was a new windows update i installed and i rebooted by PC. Not sure if this caused it but PC was fine before that.
any solutions to try? I just don't want to reinstall windows. Please help..
