Question Disabling CSM causes boot failure ?

Hi Guys,

Quite exasperated trying to enable resizable bar on my Asrock Taichi X570. My system is getting old I I want to squeeze every last drop of performance out of it.

Purposefully installed windows 11 from 10 and made sure all drives were GPT.

Trying to disable CSM so I can enable 4G and REBAR, but each time I do it, I get stuck at boot and it hard locks.

Scoured forums everywhere trying to get this fixed, anyone have the solution?

Motherboard: Asrock Taichi X570
CPU: Ryzen 3700X
GPU: Radeon 5700XT
RAM: 16GB DDR 4 3600

Windows must've been installed with legacy support enabled. If that is the case disabling legacy/csm will result Windows install not booting. Revert changes, backup your things, then prepare Windows reinstallation once you change bios to Uefi only.

How do u revert changes and ensure its not installed with legacy support? also is there a way which doesn't involve reinstalling windows?
