[SOLVED] Disabling SATA devices when installing Windows 10 to NVME SSD

I am about to install Windows 10 on my Corsair Force MP510 NVME SSD and was wondering if I need to completely unplug my SATA drives or can I just disable them in bios?

Because of the size of my GPU, they are in a bit of a tricky position to remove so disabling is the preference for me, but I was wondering if this will still ensure windows doesn't install anything on them?

if your bios allows for disabling sata controllers, then u can just disable it there

I have an Asus H270F which appears to allow me to disable them.

If it’s disabled then it shouldn’t let Windows install anything on the other drives right?

Right, if OS doesn't see a drive, it won't use it.
