[SOLVED] Disabling the onboard Intel card

I recently inherited a ASUS GL553VE notebook from my father's estate. In the Device Driver, it lists two GPUs, an onboard Intel HD Graphics 630 and an Nvidia GE FORCE GTX 1050 Ti.

I'm a journalist by day and a gamer at night. I've been unsuccessful in my efforts to disable the onboard Intel card.

I tried, unsuccessfully. to do this via the Device Manager, but the notebook keeps re-installing the card when I power up. I've also tried to do it in the BIOS, however, the Graphic Configuration item is is greyed out.

Acknowledging the limitations of my knowledge, I've come to the wellspring of expertise I've always found here.

I could use some guidance and hope you good people can help.

why disable it?
for gaming, go to nvidia control panel and add the game to it

Most laptops made in the last 7-8 years have switchable graphics. There's no reason to disable the integrated GPU, and chances are you'll make things worse if you disable it because the laptop's display is connected to it.
