Hi everyone !

I've searched the internet for a while without finding a proper anser so here it is.

I have my new rig, with an ASUS Strix GTX 1080 ti and an ASUS Prime Z370-A MB.

both are compatible with aura sync. I don't wan't any leds at any time since it bothers me more than anything and i have a closed case anyway, but the light still shows through the 5.25 bays so yeah.

The MB LEDs do not turn off when the PC is powered off.

I downloaded Aura sync and managed to turn OFF LEDs for my GPU (not sure if this setting stays, tried that late last night, gotta check back), but the program does not recognize my MB.

I'll try reinstall it but maybe the solution is located in BIOS ? i've read about ROG users having an option to disable that, but since I don't have a ROG MB, i don't have that option in my BIOS.

I've also read about bios tweaking about an option that reduces power consumption during standby that forces the leds to pwer off, except i don't want them at anytime.

Is there a way to force the MB recognition into Asus Aura ? At least i could pick a steady fixed colour, because the lights are showing a rainbow right now and that is bothersome bc it catches my eye.

Help me please, i'm sure someone figured it out before me :)

Solution
Ok found the solution by myself before anyone could help me.
Posting this in case of someone ends up in the same situation as me.

For the graphics card you have ton install Aura and disable it. The lights will still turn on when you boot then they will turn off.

For the MB you have to go in the BIOS, in advanced mode, advanced tab and then search in the sub menus a little bit, it's really not that obvious of a location. There you can turn it completely off or just when the computer's powered off.

Where exactly is it? I've searched the entire sub menu and can't find it

On the Z370-E; you can turn off the MB LED's under 'Advanced mode --> Onboard devices config --> RGB LED lighting'
