[SOLVED] Discord won't fit screen ?

I've just gotten a new 4k tv, and it seems to have made a lot of apps not work correctly. One of the more annoying things is that Discord will no longer properly fit the monitor I have it up on, instead opting to bleed out onto my other monitors when the window is set to fit-to-screen. This makes the edge that would ordinarily display when a discord has new messages pure white, and while I have a fix for this (manually adjusting the window), it's annoying to have to do every time I restart my pc. Anyone know how to fix this? I messaged Discord customer service, but they never responded.

Extra info-
  • PC is running Windows 10
  • Total of 4 monitors (that is including the TV)
  • Tv is a Samsung 50" TU7000
  • Discord is running on a different monitor, not the Tv

I am not sure that Discord or the other apps are the problem per se.

It may be more of a matter of Windows simply not remembering windows sizes and positions. Or remembering the "incorrect" last settings.

My other thought is that there is some inherent conflict between the three monitors and 4K TV. Resolution, connectivity...

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Also:

Make and model 4K TV? Is that 4K TV being used as the monitor where Discord and the other apps no longer fit?

How many other monitors?

What other apps are affected?

There may be other issues involved.

My other thought is that there is some inherent conflict between the three monitors and 4K TV. Resolution, connectivity, GPU, iGPU etc.,.

How are the four displays connected and configured? GPU, iGPU, HDMI, DVI, etc..

If necessary could you sketch out and post a diagram showing the displays and connections.

I am also going to move your post from Apps and Software to the Displays category.

More suitable category for multiple monitor type problems.
