[SOLVED] discreet GPU is never idle ?

my laptops discreet GPU used to be idle and my laptop would idle at around 35-40 degrees, but now the GPU won't idle for some reason, and my laptop is idling at around 55-60 degrees. Does anyone know how to idle the GPU? (rtx 2060)

I think the Task Manager shows which app is using which GPU, if you had Windows 10.

For Linux, try nvidia-smi, assuming the usual setup.
