Question Disk 1 is running at 100% when nothing is open

Recently my computer crashed. I restarted it and logged in to find that I was unable to play games. I could launch them but I was unable to load into online games or campaigns. This concerned me so I started searching for the issue. It tunes out my HDD is running at 100% when my SSD is at 1% maybe 2% percent Anyway to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Disconnect that HDD, run the PC to see what happens. If the PC runs fine, and the HDD has problem.

Then you can use the HD tune to test the HDD S.M.A.R.T. https://www.hdtune.com/

I launched a game today and it is running fine. Not sure what happened but its working. Thanks for the reply anyways. I'll be in contact with this thread if anything changes.
