So I just got a new ssd and cloned my hdd to it. Now when I try to boot from it I get "disk boot failure insert system disk and press enter". The boot order is definitely correct. I reset my cmos battery too. The power and sata cables are fully plugged in. The SSD is detected in the BIOS. What do i do?

Motherboard: GA-78lmt-usb3
SSD: Crucial MX500 1tb
HDD: Western Digital 2tb

Will it still boot from original drive if SSD is removed?

Perhaps something went wrong with your clone process/ procedure....
I can boot from my hard drive all fine with the ssd installed. I just can't boot from the ssd and that's what I need. I guess the cloning could've messed up but it said it was done successfully. I just ran chkdsk and it still says the same thing. I used EaseUS Todo Backup for the cloning.
