Disk boot failure

Hello,
disk boot failure. not a tecky but changed batt as has not been used maybe in two years. No backup disk and running windows me. help

I had this error before on my Win2000 PC. The HDD was physically damaged so it wouldn't boot. There isn't too much you can do to fix that but if you have another system, you could slot the HDD into that and check to see if the disk is ok and if necessary back up any files.

Make sure it is not as simple as you left a floppy in the drive
