Disk boot failure.

After my old psu overheated and died, I got a new one. Everything is plugged in correctly and i turn it on to be greeted with the disk boot failure. I check the hdd and its plugged in and so is my external drive but that doesnt help, i checked bios to make sure it was reading and it was but that didnt help. I even put in a windows 7 disk to an external optical drove and it still will not pick up on a fix for this. I really need some help guys.

Disconnect external drive and make sure there is correct boot sequence in BIOS.

Im just an absolute idiot and didnt even fucking plug it in all the way !!!!! It never went all the way, it was almost there but just not enough to be recognized. Woops? Thanks for the help though
