Question Disk Management options not doing anything

I recently built a new system and I was trying to sort out some of the drives, but for some reason none of the dropdown menu options do anything when right-clicking a drive. They're all there but when I click on them nothing happens (They're not greyed out)

Not sure what I can do about this so some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Please give us some more info on this system.
What drives, the rest of the system.
A full capture of the Disk Management window.

Were the drives with difficulties in question perhaps used with a previous build? (Perhaps some lingering 'take ownership' issues)

Are they visible/accessible within normal Explorer menus, with read and write capability?

can you grab/post a link to a screenshot of your full Disk Management display output?
