Disk Usage 100%

Hello there,
I have gaming pc

CPU:Intel core i7 5930k
RAM: KIngston 8 GB ddr4
Hdd: WD 2TB purple 5400 rpm
Motherboard: gigabyte x99 gaming 5p

The issue started when i first time install my windows 10 .The problem starts Specifically on startup after login in into the user, the disk usage turn to 100% and the windows become heavy and too slow .also the windows take more than 5 min to startup and i don't think that is normal.However, the disk usage issue take about 5 min from startup then it disappeared,sometime the issue appear when i start some games.

keep in mind that i tried these solutions
-Paging files
-Disk defragment
-Check disk
-turn off some services

Well that is a very slow hard drive. It's a 5400rpm WD purple meant for storing surveillance camera video, not being the boot drive of an X99 system lol.

I would say your issues are normal considering the hard drive you are using.

I am curious as to who advised you to buy a video surveillance HDD for use in a PC.

Consider getting SSD for your system.

I thought so, Nvme ssd m.2 is coming on the way
