Disk Usage Maxed out For No Reason

Hello all, thank you for checking this out. Ever since I got this laptop, the Dell Inspiron 7559, I have had problems with the hard drive being stuck at 100%. I've tried resetting it, which worked for less than a month, and unfortunately, I can't afford to do that every few weeks. Although the MB/s from each app is generally less than 3 or so, it manages to reach 100% and freeze up my computer. The weirdest thing is that even opening photos can take the hard drive from 5% to 100% usage for minutes. Completely clean and no viruses, I'm not quite sure where to go from here. Any help would be most appreciated!

This looks like the issue I had with my pc because Windows 10 is stupid. I fixed my problem the easy, I installed linux. But for you I recommend putting windows in game mode to disable some of the background services baked into the OS Microsoft claims is necessary.http://www.windowscentral.com/windows-10-game-mode

Unfortunately Game Mode hasn't been implemented into Windows 10 yet, and the news article was just announcing the (hopefully) future release of it.
