disk's going to 100% whenever i open something

i have a amd a8-5500 apu with radeon hd graphics 3.20ghz with 8.00gb (7.19 usable) 64bit operating system and ive tried everything and am currently running auslogics disk defrag but ihighly doubt it will fix the problem ive tried a clean boot disabling superfetch and windows something forgot the name to it and turning my power options to power saving and also changing my virtual memory and i just cant seem to fix it amd ive been in task manager and the resource moniter a billion times still cant find anything does anyone have any other suggestions on what i should do because i cant afford a new rig or hard drive im living the struggle so if anyone can help please do it would be greatly appreciated

What is your OS?
Also, you can disable BITS as well. It will not hurt to double check whether Windows Search and Superfetch are disabled(Some users don't click on the Apply button but only on the Disable one, thus they don't really disable these services).
In case the issue persists, you need to test your drive with some brand specific testing tool(or a third party one). If the results show that there is something wrong with the drive, you will need to back up the data stored on it.
