I recently got some new pc components and got someone to mount them and set it up. The problem is that my monitor doesn't have an HDMI slot so I need to use a VGA to HDMI adapter for it. Now comes the problematic part. I can't play anything, and it's kinda crappy since that's what I build the pc for. It just says that it might be a driver problem, so I reinstalled that multiple times, but with no good results. The adapter (I guess) messes up everything. I can't play games (not even 2006 games) and I can't change the aspect ratio. The only thing I can change is the resolution. I really need help. Are there any solutions or do I need to get a new monitor? (assuming that that's the problem)
I'm also gonna link the specs and info of the PC (DxDiag and MSInfo):
