Display Brightening and Diming When switching programs.

So I refreshed my system recently since it was having problems and since then every time I open a bright windows (example : Google Chrome) my display brightens. Same with something like steam only it darkens with darker programs.

I'm not actually on it at the moment at a different computer. But my laptop has 2 graphics cards one is an Intel and the other is a nividia 760gtx (Something like that I think.) I've read that there is something on an Intel card where it will do it to save power. So if this is the problem how to I turn it off.

Windows 10 BTW.

Also I've tried going to Power options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings
And turning auto adjust brightness off. Won't work.

What make and model# display do you have? It might be some kind of adaptive backlighting going on or something.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by Model number.

Ok so I was messing with it eariler and somehow switched my default graphics card from my intel to my nividia and It just needed a reboot to switch over. So the problem is fixed since im running on my Nividia now.
