hi everyone, I am having an issue with "display driver stopped working and... something like that" it happens every time I want to play a game. this is a recent upgrated pc (new ram, new cpu, and new ram cuz I had amd before so I switched to intel) when I finished it it was running perfectly and I downloaded gta 5, ran a benchmark and it was perfect no issue but then I realized that the ram was not placed in the recommended slots, so I turned the pc off placed them how they were supposed to go and turn on again, but this time when I went to gta I tried to run a benchmark to see if it had a change in performance and as soon as the bench started running the game just crashed and showed me that message, I downloaded other game to try on it (bf3) too and they were crashing too as soon as they started. I reinstalled windows again and downloaded gta again to see if that worked but It did the same thing crashing at the start of benchmark and that message popping up, I tried to uninstalling display drivers and installing again and it didn't work, I don't know what to do an I am afraid it may be my cpu cuz I returned the motherboard got a new one and buy another ram cuz since all I did was mess with the ram before it started crashing but it didn't work at all It still shows me the same message. do you guys know if the cpu can caused this problem to happen or is it just software problem? I really hope is not the cpu! PS: I messed with the gta settings files and managed to get it to work for a while but the frames were dropping like hell, from 60 to 28 like every 2 seconds so I put the settings back as they were cuz It was shitty this is why I am worry it might be the cpu!
