I recently bought a new monitor, and at first, it was working fine. Then, the screen stretched out just a bit past the edges of the monitor, so the bottom half of the bar at the bottom of the screen is cut off, as is about a quarter inch of the right and left ends. It's as if the computer thinks the screen ends further out than it does. I'm displaying at the screen's native resolution, and that was not changed when the problem started. When displaying on my laptop's built-in monitor, everything looks fine.
In case it helps, my monitor is an HP Pavilion 23xi, and my laptop is running Windows 7 and uses an Intel HD Graphics card.
How do I fix this?
