[SOLVED] Display issue [1050ti)

Hello guys

system spec
Monitor - Lenovo Legion y25f
Graphic card - Asus GTX1050ti
Asus z170-A
Windows 10 v1803


Displays shows lines Image when i install drivers. no issues in basic display driver things i've tried checked with different cables , bios update, different drivers , used DDU to uninstall, also tried os inplace upgrade nothing worked pls help

That is what a failing GPU looks like (it's ok until you install the drivers that actually tell windows how to use the GPU). It is still under warranty?

And to be sure, try with a different screen.

I would try lowering refresh rate and resolution... In that way you can decide whether it's the GPU or the monitor. If the lines go away, the monitor has something to do. If not, then the GPU.

i don't have spare monitor but monitor works fine with igfx in all refresh rates, resolution ? should i still check with different monitor? card is still under warranty thanks

Yup, it's the card.. Now you MUST claim the warranty.
