hello guys I am facing an issue with my monitor ( model - LG 22mk600m ). It seems as if there is another screen below it that has shifted slightly to the right. I am using a VGA cable. Attaching some photos. If anyone knows what is causing this, please let me know how to fix this.

Pc specs (it's an old pc )
OS - win 11 Home single lang 64 bit (10.0 build 21996)
BIOS - Intel Corpo. BEH6110H.86A.0016.2011.0118.1128, 18-01-2011 ver 04.06.04
Bios Mode - Legacy
Baseboard - DH61WW
Baseboard Ver. - AAG23116-203
Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10 GHz, 3100 MHz, 2 Core(s)
RAM - 6144 MB ( 4gb stick & 2 gb stick )

I am using AmazonBasics 10-Feet VGA to VGA Cable, And I read the article (2nd article) provided by Ralston18, in which the use of long wire is also given as a reason. thank you Ralston18. I will provide further information about this as soon as I use this monitor with another computer.

DISPLAY -
Intel(R) HD Graphics,
Device type - Full Display Device
Approx total mem. - 1664 MB,
Display Mem.(VRAM) - 32MB
Shared Mem. - 1632 MB
Driver - I couldn't find the driver for my Board on the Official Web of INTEL so download them from 3rd party (somewhat safe )
Installed Drivers - igdumd64.dll igd10umd64.dll, igd10umd64.dll
Driver Version - 9.17.10.4459

  1. what is this type of problem called?
  2. Is the display or panel faulty or a driver problem, Power issue, cable, or some other problem?

Ghosting....

You can easily google for similar references. Just use search criteria applicable to your computer, monitor, etc...

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Try another known working (no "ghosts") monitor on your computer.

Try your monitor on another known working computer whose monitor is not ghosting.

Determine if the problem follows the monitor or stays with your computer. Mostly as a matter of elimination.

Manually download the GPU drivers via the applicable manufacturer's website. Reinstall and reconfigure. Do not use any third party driver installers.

Overall, take a look at the configurable settings being used. Response time for example.

Thank you Ralston18, According to the second article, my 10 feet wire seems to be the only thing that is causing the problem here.

And talking about the drivers, I could not find them on the official website because this is an old computer and its support has probably stopped. So I had to download them from some other place even without wanting to. When I was installing them, I was aware that there are chances that they might not work. So yes driver can also be a reason behind this but I don't have original drivers.
