[SOLVED] Display On and Off

Hi,

Before anything else no it doesn't have to do with graphics card and monitor, those came from my new build.

I tried to re-assemble my cousin's old PC for my little brother and I hit a snag, the screen just shuts off and on every few minutes and I don't know what cause this.

I updated all the drivers and finished windows update but nothing helped.

My cousin's PC specs below:

CPU - i7 2600k
MOBO - Asus P8H61M-LX
RAM - 8GB Kingston DDR3
PSU - 700 watts generic PSU

My cousin bought it in 2011 and he gave it to us in 2019 still running and no issues.

Tried replacing RAM no luck, I'll try to replace the PSU.

Thank you! PSU is the culprit, I bought a new one and my cousin's relic PC is running smooth like butter.
