Tried putting my new PC together earlier this week and the display was completely glitched.

I returned the parts and asked for a replacement, but when it came in it still ended up looking glitched.

To troubleshoot the issue, I tried connecting the monitor directly to my motherboard without a GPU and it worked fine. I also tried using my old GPU (a 1070ti) and it was also fine. I don't think the motherboard or the PCIE port was the issue.

I highly doubt the GPUs were defective twice in a row, or that I broke two GPUs back to back (though I did use a bit of extra force when installing the second GPU as it was struggling to slot in, but I don't think it was enough to damage the GPU).

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

If you're able to get display output off your iGPU, then I'd advise you to check and see what your current BIOS version is. Cross reference the BIOS version on your board with the latest version on Gigabyte's support site.

As for your GPU, did you make sure the 16pin 12VHPWR connector is fully seated?
