display port doesn't work!ASUS VG248QE

Hello guys! I have built a new pc.And a couple of years ago I got myself an ASUS VG248QE (for my ps4.144hz on PS4?cuz I was thinking of getting both a ps4 and a pc in the future)
The problem is that the Display port cable doesn't work!
I tried plugging the display port cable in all the 3 Ports on the GPU but still doesn't work!I am using an HDMI cable but I wanna play on 144hz.
Help me guys. Anything would be okay.
link me if possible to the drivers of the monitor. I cannot find the drivers.ASUS VG248QE.
Hopefully the drivers will work but as I READ online it won't work.Any help is appreciated.

You dont need drivers for the monitor.
Did you switch the input to displayport in the monitors osd or the buttun just to the left of the power button?

Could be a problem with the card or the port on the monitor then. Another option for 144Hz with that monitor is a dual link DVI cable.

Nope,the dp PORT on the monitor is not broken.It shows "DISPLAY PORT " then "NO SIGNAL"
