Display port not working

my seconds monitor refuses to turn on, with displayport my main one works with DVI,

(i have tested my seconds screen and it works fine with DVI as well)

It's the displayport from my PC to a DVI in the monitor

i tried switching it around, then my other monitor worked and my main one didn't

Yes, i tried using the two displayports and not the DVI, then none of the screens turned on

I still haven't got it to work, however i bought a HDMI to DVI cable, so now im using my DVI and HDMI output from my graphicscard.
