Hi,
I've just got a new GPU; GTX 1070.
Plugging in the dual-link DVI cable gives me the option to set my monitors OSD settings to DVI as input. This gives me a sub-HD image.
However using the same cable and setting my monitors OSD setting input to - Display port gives me a 'no cable connected' message on my blank screen. After installing the drivers EVGAs website the HDMI ports now work.

Now the strange bit is - In the Nvidia Control Panel, It shows two monitors as being connected.
(HDMI + Display port - that are both plugged in)
It even correctly identifies that the display port 'monitor can go up to 144hz/1080p, as my monitor can...

However setting the monitor input to DP gives a black screen.
I doubt it's a faulty lead as - I am able to connect via DVI using the same dvi-dual-link cable.
I'm stumped.

I've tried, unplugging the HDMI. so there's just the one input.
I've restarted the PC. Changed primary displays.
I disabled Intel HD.... as recommended by someone before installing the new GPU drivers.
Any ideas? thanks
(Spec in sig).
