Display problem

Hi everyone,
My brother has a MSI 4850 512 Mb graphics card.He is facing some problem while paying games.The display goes out while playing games after 20- 40 mins. He tried connecting to on board and it works with no issues.But when he re connects to the card the problem starts.Even during some installation or on low work load it experiences problem.So,is it the card issue or something else?
