Hello, as the title suggests, I was watching YT and suddenly my monitor went black, although the sound was still there. I restarted my PC and now the refresh rate is at 1.000 Hz. Reinstalling GPU drivers doesn't help. Also, this thing happens both on DP and HDMI cables. What can I do?

GPU - RX 6600
Monitor - Dell AW2523HF
Operating system - Windows 10 Home

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I restarted my PC and now the refresh rate is at 1.000 Hz.
Does the panel exhibit the same issue when on a donor system?

Reinstalling GPU drivers doesn't help.
Did you use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, Nvidia and AMD) in Safe Mode? Manually reinstalling with the latest version sourced from AMD's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Make sure in Windows the refresh rate is correct in advanced display settings.
You changed cables so that should be good for that.

And knowing that some countries use a '.' where the U.S. uses ',' I have to ask, are you saying that you are only getting 1 frame per second or one-thousand frames per second? That '.' makes all the difference.

I reinstalled the drivers using DDU, I can use 240/360 Hz for now, we'll see how long it lasts.
