Sup people!
I'm having a really hard time figuring this one out.
I built a PC to play some old games, running Windows XP 32-bit, SP3.
MOBO: GA-G41M-Combo (rev. 2.0)
CPU: Core2Duo E8500
RAM: 2x2Gb, some random generic DDR3
GPU: Gainward Geforce 730GT, running driver ver. 368.81
DISPLAY: LG 24MP59G-P (native 1920x1080, 75hz), connected through HDMI

So... this combination stretches every 4:3 aspect ratio game. Even if I change the desktop resolution to something like 800x600, instead of having it in 4:3 with black bars on both sides, it just stretches the whole thing so it fills the entire screen to 16:9 ratio.

The thing is, the display scaling options are not present in Nvidia Control Panel.
I tried connecting to the display using both D-SUB (VGA) connector, and a HDMI with the same effect.
I also re-installed the display driver (368.81)

Is there any workaround to this?
Thanks in advance :)

Solution
Check your monitor. That's where the stretching is occuring. However, not all monitors allow control of this function and if this is the case here then you're out of luck.
