Hey all, I’m fairly new to PC gaming as a whole but know enough to get by. I built my first computer about 6 months ago and haven’t had any issues up until a couple days ago. Recently, my display will stutter while in games and even while just browsing the web. List of components as follows:
Ryzen 5 2600
MSI RX580 Armor
Asus B450-F mobo
16GB Corsair vengeance 3200 DDR4 (2x 8gb)
Seasonic 600w gold power supply
I’ve tried reinstalling drivers, swapping RAM sticks, changing HDMI cables, and even different mice because at first I thought it was just my mouse sensor messing up, but all of the above didn’t help whatsoever. I can’t seem to figure it out, and I’m not sure what else to try. I’ve tried with Freesync on/off, as well as V-sync on/off in games but still, stutters all over the place. I can’t remember the exact monitor I have at the moment, but I know it’s an HP rated at 144hz 1ms response time.
Anyway, any ideas you guys might have I’d be glad to try. Thanks for reading!
