Hello. I just got my third monitor, and need to get an adapter from hdmi/DVI to displayport. I searched around and found out there's a display port 1.2 and 1.4.
I have a gigabyte gtx 1070 card, and under specification it says:
Display Port-1.4 *3 (Max Resolution: 7680x4320 @60 Hz
Does this mean I have to get a 60 Hz and 7680x4320, or can i get a 30 Hz one? Also does it have to be 1.4?
Third monitor is a GL2250
I wil most likely not use this monitor for gaming, but maybe for youtube, facebook, news, schoolwork(notepads. Help? 😀
On another note: Is it better to game on displayport than dvi or hdmi? (Even with a adapter, aka originally a hdmi/dvi cable)
