Displayport No Signal with ASUS VG248QE only when the HDMI port is also being used.

I'm trying to do a second monitor but whenever the HDMI cable is connected the displayport goes to no signal until I remove it. What should I do to resolve this?

Having similar issues with same display. Whenever it goes to sleep or shuts down I have to switch to DVI to get the monitor to kick back on. Once it is on I switch the cable back to Display port and it works. However this is a ridiculous work a round and cannot find a real solution yet. There are tons of threads with similar issues but no permanent solution that I have seen. Ultra frustrating.
