Question DisplayPort or HDMI ?

hello all I needed of help of getting the right cable as I read a lot about it but not sure really people saying don’t need dp go for hdmi so I’m getting this monitor https://www.cclonline.com/cu34g2-bk...440-x-1440-uwqhd-va-panel-amd-freesync-black/

this is over my budget not looking for any higher

which cable would you recommend for gaming Are there any difference in using between them

DP is more likely to get you less problems, but HDMI should work as well.

Sorry yes this is the right one send wrong one it is 144hz
So with the cables I want to know how to find good quality cables as there is a lot of them and don’t want to buy bad one

like said, you won´t have to buy an additional cable, because both cables are in the box of the monitor. HDMI and DP will be shipped with the new monitor.

While both hdmi and dp will work, the upper performance of hdmi2.0 will limit the refresh rate of your monitor.
The dp cable will be best.
I would use the included dp cable.
Be aware that there are several qualities of dp cables.

for freesync on nvidia gpu, you will need display port, hdmi wont work
