I just bought an Acer ED273A 27” 144Hz, I want to know if it was just okay to use the cable that comes with the monitor or buy a high quality branded one (this is the only available cable that I can buy right now http://www.unitek-products.com/product/cable?view=product&id=75), because I've read that the cable that comes with the monitor is a cheap low quality one, so one may not fully optimize the performance of the monitor. By the way, I'm using Asus GTX 1070 Dual OC.

Thank you, community.

Unless it's an absolute garbage cable that distorts the image (the ones you get from a bin in a dollar store or so) which the acers isn't you'll see almost no difference between a 10€ or 1000€ cabel except that the expensive cable might be...

we use DIGITAL data transmission. this means there is no DISTORTION caused by cable quality UNTILL cable is complete garbage. With ANALOG like VGA or few others gold coated ends have purpose. HDMI have 3-5 m range on cheap cables, and up to 15m on branded, gold coated, screened cables. IF you dont need 15m of HDMI don't bother.
