Hi, I've been looking for the software for my dlan highspeed ethernet 2 could somebody please find, send me a link and a guide on how to install it please? Would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I need the installation software as I've just re-installed windows 7 but no longer have the drivers for it. I tried downloading software and firmware for it from here http://www.devolo.com/uk/Downloads/dLAN-Highspeed-Ethernet-II but it didn't work so I decided to ask on here instead.

For Pete' sake, what kind of hardware or software is this? Network adapter? Switch?

If this is "Powerline adapter" - it does not need software (unless it is something very proprietary to configure them).

Finally - have you asked that company' support for what you want?

It's a powerline adapter and wifi extender, also no I haven't tried contacting the company that makes them because from previous experience they've all been verg little help

To point to any specific software or firmware, we'd need to know the specific make and model. Without that, it's anyones guess.

unfortunately all I know is the make, I managed to get it sorted on here once before about a year ago but I'm not completely sure how

Well I've provided all the information I have, if the make was googled quickly someone would easily be alble to find it, again it is a dlan highspeed ether 2, blue with devolo on the front. I've never bumped a thread before as I never had the need to but this is slightly more important than most issues and one that I'd like to be resolved quickly.

I doubt the device needs drivers, it's just an Ethernet bridge. Are you sure you don't need drivers for your network card?

Actually, some powerline adapters (I have a pair of TP-Link) come with "management software" but is was not needed to bring them up.

I understand that the company may not be the best or most responsive, but contacting them is probably your best recourse.
All we out here can suggest is 'download the software from the link you posted, and see what happens'.

@USAFRet, is there any possible way you could check my previous posts, I'm certain I got the problem sorted on here when I first bought my pc and if I did the solution will most likely be in one of those threads, should be about a year maybe a bit longer ago if I did
