Dlink 605L router - Can't connect to newer devices.

From the past fews days, I couldn't connect my laptop's wifi to my router. I could see the network SSID in my laptop's network list but couldn't connect. Whereas my mobile had no issues in connecting.
I resetted the router 4-5 times, tried changing the passwords but nothing seem to worked. I never had issue before.
I was suspecting that my laptop's network card has gone bad but when I tried connecting the laptop to my friend's router, it got connected in one go, no problems.
After that I tried to connect my friend's mobile to my router, it didn't connect. Tried one more phone and it didn't connect too.

I could easily connect to my mobile even after resetting the router but it doesn't connect to other devices!

Help me!

If your router is using WEP encryption, TKIP authentication only (instead of AES or a mix of AES and TKIP) or of it is set to G or B only modes then it will not work with modern devices.
